People make a really big deal about the first kiss, as they should. But there are other firsts in relationships, and in friendships, that really matter and we don't talk about.

The first time one of you farts in front of the other.

The first time a friend sees you without makeup.

The first time you're really tired and you're not yourself.

The first time the friend sees you cry.

The first time you disagree.

Every little situation has a question: Do you still like me? Are we still friends? And every time there's an affirmation, there's an intimacy.

Write about a weird first.
